3 Nearby Attractions
- Sacred Monkey Forest Sanctuary: Located just a few kilometers away, this 27-hectare nature reserve is home to hundreds of free-roaming Balinese long-tailed monkeys. Visitors can explore ancient temples, lush rainforest trails, and diverse wildlife while enjoying the spiritual atmosphere of the forest.
- Tegalalang Rice Terrace: Famous for its iconic emerald-green cascading fields, this UNESCO World Heritage site is best viewed from the viewing decks. Visitors can take a leisurely walk through the paddies, enjoy a coffee break at a local plantation, or try traditional Balinese cooking classes nearby.
- Ubud Palace (Puri Saren Agung): Situated in the center of Ubud town, this royal palace is a stunning example of Balinese architecture. While the main residence is private, the open courtyards are often used for traditional dance performances and cultural ceremonies, offering a glimpse into the island's rich heritage.
Travel Tips Temuku Villas offers free private parking, which is a significant advantage in Ubud. Since the area is hilly, it is recommended to wear comfortable walking shoes. While the villa provides free WiFi, signal strength can vary in the jungle areas, so downloading offline maps is advised. For dining, the villa’s restaurant is excellent, but exploring the local warungs in Kedewatan offers a more authentic culinary experience.
